Find success at work in a whole new way

No matter what city I’ve worked in—from Austin to Bangalore—or the size of company I’ve supported, I see the same thing happen again and again.

Smart, hard-working people get promoted to leadership roles without receiving the management skills they need to excel . . . leaving them flustered and afraid of getting it wrong.

My name is Leila. I'm the creator of the Awesome Leader platform.

Over the past 20 years I've coached leaders at all levels—from top execs to total newbies, Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies.

I’ve built a reputation as an executive coach with an uncanny ability to make soft skills tangible and help leaders figure out what to say and how to say it.

I wanted to teach the fundamental skills nobody else is offering—like how to delegate and communicate and navigate relationships.

And I wanted to do it in the most efficient, accessible, and easy-to-implement way possible.

So managers get the tools to do less and lead more today.

I wanted to teach soft skills in practical, no-nonsense ways that garner real results and create real, awesome leaders.

That’s the mission.

In short, to make it easier to be the boss . . . and have more fun in the process.

More About Me

Before starting my executive coaching and leadership development practice, I built the Learning and Development function at CNET Networks.

I've had my work featured in The Wall Street Journal, BBC.com, NBCNews.com, TheInformation.com, Reuters, Marketplace Radio, SHRM.org, Fast Company, Women's Health, Cosmo Japan (crazy, right?!), and others.

I'm a UC Berkeley grad (English and German) and have an MA in English from The Claremont Colleges. I love language, and I'm an expert at dissecting tough conversations and putting them back together again.

Nobody wants to be bad at their job.

Most people simply aren’t given the time, training, and tools they need to grow into their potential.

Make your managers the exception to this global trend.

Give them the tools to win in ways they didn’t know were possible and see the impact across your entire business.
